There are workshops all week during the half term for parents & children to get involved in. They are:-

Workshops on the beach – building the bonfire (a Viking Ship)monday to friday 10am – 12 noon & 1pm – 4pm.

Workshop at the Riverside – 10 am – 12 noon & 2pm – 4pm making viking shields & weapons, viking heads, ravens, waves & more. Come & be creative.

Saturday morning 10am – 12 noon there will be a workshop for painting the bonfire white. So come along with your paint brush & wear your old clothes..

Saturday afternoon 1pm -3pm building wooden site decorations.

There has been a good turn out at all the wotkshops so far. The bonfire is well on it’s way & on scedule if not infront but we don’t want to tempt fate. A delivery of pallets arrived just before lunchtime. There has also been deliveries of old scaffolding boards & ladders earlier in the week, so there is plenty of building mterials to be getting on with. There is a great atmoshere down there, with both adults & young people busy digging, measurung, hammering etc. All working together enthusiastically & enjoying a bit of banter.
